BIOMECHANICAL STUDIES USING FINITE ELEMENTS METHOD

Several results are presented in the following pictures from different studies on the human organs.  The objectives were to find the mechanical state for physiological or pathological situations. The results were used for research grants and were presented in journal papers, conferences of Ph.D theses.

3D reconstruction of a human diaphragm from patient's CT scans made using CATIA.The model was used for a FE Analysis in a virtual crash simulation of an automobile collision.

3D finite element model of the proximal humerus with implant

.

Hemodynamics studies on human aorta with and without stenosis.
